Human Rights Education Associates (HREA) is a non-profit organisation whose main mission is to support efforts aimed at introducing human rights concepts and values into educational curricula and teaching practices. The HREA site contains many on-line resources for human rights organisations and educators.

Founded in 1988, the Middle East Children's Alliance is a registered nonprofit organization working for the rights and the well being of children in the Middle East. MECA sends shipments of aid to Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon, and supports projects that make life better for the children. We educate North Americans about children in the region and the brutal impact of US foreign policy on their lives. MECA welcomes the support of all people who care about children and their future.

The United Nations is central to global efforts to solve problems that challenge humanity. Cooperating in this effort are more than 30 affiliated organizations, known together as the UN system. Day in and day out, the UN and its family of organizations work to promote respect for human rights, protect the environment, fight disease and reduce poverty. UN agencies define the standards for safe and efficient air travel and help improve telecommunications and enhance consumer protection. The United Nations leads the international campaigns against drug trafficking and terrorism. Throughout the world, the UN and its agencies assist refugees, set up programmes to clear landmines, help expand food production and lead the fight against AIDS.

The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS) is an independent regional non-governmental organization founded in 1994. It aims at promoting respect for principles of human rights and democracy, analyzing the difficulties facing the application of International Human Rights Law and disseminating Human Rights Culture in the Arab Region. CIHRS enjoys consultative status in the United Nations ECOSOC, and observer status in the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. CIHRS is also a member of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN) and the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX).

As Egyptians living abroad, we believe, we represent a vital part of the nation, and we are naturally deeply concerned with the current political, economical and social situation prevalent in our homeland. We stand in no need for anyone to tell us to fulfill our duties as Egyptians toward our nation and country; nor do we need anyone’s permission for it: it is our human, moral and lawful right and obligation to do whatever we can to improve social, political and human condition of our fellow country men and women.

With this purpose in view, we have come together and established the ''Save Egypt Front'' as a political and national organization to bring together all elements of overseas opposition to help save Egypt from its present brutal and corrupt regime and to steer it towards a better future.
